Myers, Florida. Mr. Taylor died Monday night after a serious illness of about a year. He had gone to Florida from Ionia several years ago because of his health, having been afflicted with a heart ailment. The body will be brought to Ionia arriving here Thursday afternoon at 2:25. Funeral services will be attended at the Myers funeral home on East Main street Friday afternoon at 2:30 and interment will be at Balcom cemetery. Mr. Taylor was born in Ionia county and was a resident here until he went to Florida. He resided in Orange township during his youth and was a resident of Ionia, the Taylor home being on Lafayette street, the house west of the present J. H. Higbee home. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen, and for many years was an employee of the Capital Wagon works and the Hayes-Ionia company. Surviving Mr. Taylor are his wife and one daughter, Agnes, a resident of St. Louis, Missouri.
