The Ionia Standard, Friday, October 29, 1915

Mrs. Mary Taylor of Easton, a cousin of Mrs. B. F. Wilkinson and mother of Ben 
Taylor, who was burned to death in the Lowell jail, was found dead in bed 
Saturday afternoon at her daughter’s home, Mrs. Eva Conner.  She died of heart 
trouble.  Burial was in Easton.

Mrs. Mary Taylor, an old resident of Easton; passed away Saturday evening.  
She lived to a good old age, and will be greatly missed.  Funeral was on 
Tuesday afternoon at the home.
