The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, April 19, 1957

William Gerald Taylor, 67, of route one, White Cloud, and formerly of Ionia 
county, died suddenly at his farm home Friday.  He was born January 18, 1890 
in Orange township and was a farmer most of his life.  He was married to 
Evelyn Robinson July 5, 1916.

Surviving are one son, Glenn of Ionia; two daughters, Dorothy Mae Taylor of 
Clifford Lake and Mrs. Geraldine Heintzelman of South Ionia and a brother 
Norman D. Taylor of Dutton.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at2 o’clock at the Myers 
funeral home and interment will be in Tuttle cemetery.  The Rev. Paul J. 
Knaak, pastor of the Lincoln Avenue Baptist church of Ionia, will officiate.
