Taylor was born in the state of New York February 27, 1844, and departed this life in Flint, Mich., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Argue January 3, 1927. Mrs. Argue is a niece of the deceased. On August 31, 1861, Mr. Taylor enlisted in Company E of the Eighth regulars, New York cavalry, but because of physical disability he was discharged on February 23, 1863. In 1874 Mr. Taylor was married to Lucy Ann Drake, who preceded her husband in death three years. To this union was born on son, Benjamin Taylor, who departed this life eight year ago. There remain to mourn his departure two grandsons and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Argue and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted from Bradley’s undertaking parlor by F. R. Wiggins, pastor of the Adventist church. Interment is to be near Sheridan.
