Sept. 17, 1925 Miss Flora M. Taylor, whose girlhood days were spent in Portland, died at Lansing, Wednesday, after a short illness, at the age of 65. She located in that city 45 years ago and was long connected with the Donseraux store, one of the city’s leading mercantile establishments. More recently she conducted a corsetiere shop in the Mahoney store. Death occurred at her home Wednesday evening, two weeks after she gave up work at the store. Funeral services were held at the Jarvis-Estes funeral home Saturday, Rev. Frank Kingdom officiating. Interment was in Deepdale cemetery, Lansing. Miss Taylor was a daughter of Mark Taylor one of Portland’s pioneer business men, in his day one of the town’s most prominent citizens. There were two other children, Dora, who married Rev. Thomas B. Gregory, and Ford. Mrs. Gregory died many years ago and Ford, who also lived in Lansing, has been dead for some time. The nearest living relative is a nephew, L. P. Cooley, of Lansing.
