Belding Banner-News, 26 Nov 1964

Dexter C. Taylor, 79, 102 Vincent St., died Saturday morning at Belding
Community hospital.  Mr. Taylor retired from Gibson Refrigerator Co., 11 years
ago.  He was born in Isabella County, May 13, 1885, and was married to Florence
Chamberlin September 18, 1904 and they moved to Belding 40 years ago.  They
celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last September.

Surviving are his wife Florence; one daughter, Mrs. William (Winifred) Lance of
Cooks Corners; a sister, Jennie Oberlin of Cooks Corners; one brother Irvin
Taylor of Bronson; several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Monday afternoon at the Ellis-Danol Funeral Home with the
Rev. Marvin Moser, pastor of First Church of God, officiating.  Burial was at
Pine River cemetery, Blanchard.  Pallbearers were Glenn  Jensen, George
Everhart, George Hendrick, Earl Thomas, Orval Thompson and Forrest Switzer.
