The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, January 8, 1959


Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Neller funeral home in Portland 
for David E. Taylor, 80, who died Sunday afternoon at St. Lawrence hospital in 
Lansing.  The Rev. George Barna of Mulliken officiated.  Mr. Taylor was a 
member of Past Noble Grand and Oddfellow lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Rose; one daughter, Mrs. Julia Chowen of Walled Lake; 
two sons, Dale L. Taylor of Watchung, N.J., and David, Jr. of Ionia; seven 
grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Clifford O’Neil of Mulliken and a brother, Mark 
Taylor of Palmetto, Fla. 

Pallbearers were Andrew Christenson, Oscar Eklund, Melvin Elliott, Al Boucher, 
Kenyon Peabody and Lyle Bell.  Burial was in Mulliken cemetery.
