Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Saturday, June 13, 1953

Mrs. Anna C. Taylor, widow of Rolla L. Taylor, of Adrian, died Thursday, June 
11, following a lingering illness. She was a former Ionia resident.

For the last 16 years she made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Chester A. Baker, 
of Lansing. She was born in Frederickton, New Brunswick, the daughter, of 
Samuel and Mary Cooper, pioneer residents of Ionia. She spent most of her life 
in this state.

Surviving her besides Mrs. Baker are a son, Harold S. Foote, of Tarzana, Calif; 
one granddaughter, Mrs. Leonard Kostroch, of California; one great-grandson; 
and two sisters, Dr. Gladys A. Cooper and Miss Lora B. Cooper of Red Oak, Iowa. 
Recently preceding her death were a sister and brother, Miss Harriet L. Cooper 
and Herbert Cooper, of Ionia.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Estes-Leadley 
Colonial Chapel in Lansing. Graveside services will be at Highland Park 
cemetery in Ionia at 2:45 p.m. Monday.
