Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, Jan. 30, 1940

Funeral services were held recently for Mrs. Margaret Ann Taylor, 73  years 
old, Ontonagon county resident, who was born in Clay township, Calhoun 
county, on April 4, 1886, and who died January 25.

She married Luther Taylor, November 6, 1863, and eleven children were born 
to them. Two daughters, Florence at the age of one month, and LaVina at the 
age of 35 years, preceded her in death. There are 56 grandchildren and 26 
great grandchildren. She went to that community from Saranac a out 40 years 
ago and settled with her family i Haight township where she had lived 
continuously with the exception of four years spent in Ewen, Ontonagon 
county. Mrs. Taylor was a frequent visitors in Ionia.
