She had been ill the past year and a half. Mrs. Taylor owned and operated the Taylor nursing home at 716 West Main street 12 years. She was born in Carson City, June 16, 1882 and had lived in Ionia since 1915. She was the daughter of John and Carrie Straight Fowler. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Forist and a son, James Taylor, both of Ionia; and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Fowser of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Blaine Laden of Ionia. Funeral services will be at Boynton funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Harold A. Jayne, pastor of First Methodist church will officiate.
