Elden (Dick) D. Taylor, 89, of Jenison formerly of Saranac, passed away 
February 28, 2004 in Jenison.  He was born July 22, 1914 in Mesick the son of 
Morris and Effie Jeanette (Malone) Taylor.  He married Grace E. Hawley October 
of 1934. She preceded him in death in 1992 after 57 years of marriage. He 
married Marian Stoner May 7, 1998.

He is survived by his wife, Marian of Jenison; children, Gilbert R. and 
Cynthia Taylor of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Dale and Donna Kay Wiers of Kentwood, 
Phyllis and Pat Magee of Ludington; stepchildren, Russell and Ann Wells of 
South Haven, Keith and Judy Wells of Greenville, TX, Sandra and Jack Mc 
Cracken of Kent City, Gary and Annette Wells of Haskell, OK; brother, George 
and Nellie Taylor of Lake Odessa; sister, Laura Krick of California; six 
grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by 
his parents and six brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac 
with Rev. Frank Lattimore officiating. Interment Easton Cemetery. Visitation 
Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  Anyone wishing may 
make a memorial condolence to Hospice of Michigan.
