Ionia Sentinel-Standard
Guy C. Taylor, 82, of Sunfield, died Nov. 13 at St. Lawrence Hospital in 
Lansing.  He was born March 30, 1906, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Fred and Ruby 
Price Taylor.  He went to school in Alma, and was married to Maxine Linhart 
December 26, 1926, in Sunfield.  She preceded him in death.  He was the 
president of Sunfield and served on the village council.  He was also a life 
member of the Sunfield Fire Department and Sunfield Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by four daughters, Joyce Klotz of Lansing, Nancy Taylor of 
Sunfield, Patricia Kananen of Plymouth, and Kay Bodenmuller of Woodland; one 
son, Jack of Tuscan, Ariz.; and one brother Clayton of San Jose; 15 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  One son, Gordon, preceded him in 
death.

Funeral services will be November 15, 2 pm at Mapes-Fisher Funeral Home.  Burial 
will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Mulliken.  The family will be at the funeral 
home Monday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.  Memorials can be made to the Sunfield Fire 
Department through the funeral home.
