Ionia Sentinel Standard
Cecil Taylor, 79, died Saturday morning at the Kent Community hospital in Grand 
Rapids.  He was born in Boston township September 28, 1897, the son of Charles 
and Mary Lusk Wayland.  He was a self-employed farmer in the Saranac area all of 
his life.  He was an active member of the South Boston Bible church.  He married 
Bessie Scott December 26, 1924, in Saranac.  She preceded him in death in 1975.

Survivors are one sister, Florence Bloom of Grand Rapids; several nieces and 
nephews.  Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 pm at the Roetman Funeral Home in 
Saranac.  Rev. Earl Cross will officiate.  Interment will be at the Saranac 
cemetery.
