     Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

             LALAH R. TAYLOR

Died Saturday October 3, 1987-age 94 of Belding.
Born April 21, 1893 in Otisco Township, the daughter of Eli and Nina (Hotchkiss) 
Witts.
Her husband, LeRoy died October 11, 1963.
Preceded in death by a brother & a sister.
Survived by a niece, Mrs.Joanne Hansen, Grand rapids, three nephews, Irving 
Taylor, Saranac, Leslie Doty, Orleans, Dr.Gordon Doty, Portland, Oregon.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, Belding, with Rev.
W.D.Wood Officiating.
Interment is in River Ridge Cemetery.
Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home by the Order of 
the Eastern Star, of which Mrs.Taylor was a life member.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 9 p.m. & Tuesday until time 
of services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alvah N.Belding Library.
