Taylor, and a teacher in the city schools for several years, died at the home on Harter street, on Sunday evening at 5:15, after an illness confining her to the house for two months. Funeral service at St. John’s Episcopal church, on Wednesday morning, at 10. ------------ Funeral service for Miss Katharine Taylor, at St. John’s Episcopal church Wed. morning, was largely attended. The service by Dr. Wilkinson, rector, consisted of the ritual only. Singing was by the church choir, with Miss Gill____ as organist. The sympathy and _____ of many friends, including [unreadable line] and former associate teachers, was manifest by an abundance of floral testimonials. The bearers were Jas. Vosper, A.S. Wright, J.L. Fowle, F.A. Stiven, T.B. Preston and M.M. Currier, the first four being members of board of education. Interment was in Oak Hill.
