She had been ill more than three years. Mrs. Taylor was born in Berlin township June 15, 1867, the daughter of Charles and Katherine Kuhtz. She had spent her entire life in Ionia county, living eight years in her present home in South Ionia. In 1868 she married Richard Taylor and they lived on the Chamberlain farm in Orange township for many years. One of the oldest members of the LeValley Methodist church, she was active in church work until her illness. Surviving are five nephews, Forrest, Leon, William and Ronald Kuhtz and A. J. Chamberlain of Ionia, and two nieces, Mrs. Thelma Murley of Toledo, Ohio, and Mrs. Glenn Hecox of Ionia. Service was held from the LeValley church Tuesday afternoon. Rev. M. E. Taber officiated. Interment was in Balcom cemetery. Bearers were Ronald, Forest, William and Leon Kuhtz.
