                       MABEL B. TEACHOUT

PORTLAND-Mabel B. Teachout, 83, of Portland died Sept. 22, in Portland.

She was born in Portland on Oct. 4, 1907, daughter of Howard and Barbara Kramer 
Goodwin.

Surviving are three sons, Richard Teachout of Portland; Robert Teachout of 
Sunfield, and David Teachout of Portland; two daughters, Margaret Clements of 
Portland and June Burger of Vermontville; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-
grandchildren.

She was a member of Portland United Methodist Church and Rebekah Lodge.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Portland United 
methodist Church, with the Rev. Stanley Finkbeiner officiating. Casket bearers 
will be Richard, Jeffery, Christopher, Scott, Michael, and Kenneth Teachout, and 
Steve and Jeffrey Burger.

Burial will be in Danby Cemetery.

The family will be at Neller Funeral Home Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 
p.m.

A memorial has been established, in care of the funeral home.
