Irene E. Teaker, aged 86, of Ionia passed away Oct. 13, 2014.  She was born 
Dec. 26, 1927, in Attica, Michigan, the daughter of Charles and Faye (Peaslee) 
Larange. Irene married Gordon Teaker Oct. 16, 1945, he preceded her in death in 
1998.  She graduated in 1964.  Irene was a member of the Women's Bowling League 
in Ionia for many years.  She loved to dance, listen to music and travel.

Irene is survived by her children, Ronald (Kathy) Teaker of Ionia, Carol (Dale) 
Stiles of Ionia, Lois (Harold) Barnes of Muir and Keith Teaker of Ionia; 25 
grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; 
sister-in-law Dorothy (Jerry) Reiger of Kentwood; two nieces, two great nieces, 
three great nephews and one great great nephew.  She was preceded in death by 
her son Richard, two brothers Herbert and Leon and grandson Anthony.

Visitation will be at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 
from 5-8 p.m.  Private Services will be held at a later date.  Those wishing 
may make memorial contributions to Heartland Hospice or Ionia Commission on 
Aging.
