CURTIS TEALL
IONIA - Funeral services were held Monday at 2 pm from the Leddick funeral home for

Curtis Teall,  76, of Marquette road, Ionia who died at his home Friday, following
an apparent heart attack.

He was born in Clare October 3, 1902, the son of William and Sabina Rasor Teall.

Mr. Teall married the former Beverly Lent in Ionia August 30, 1929. She preceded him
in death May 1, 1970.

He worked many years at Ypsilanti-Reed and Ionia manufacturing, then worked at Grand
Rapids Plating Company, retiring in 1969.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond of Ohio and Brian of Ionia; two daughters, Mrs.
Bert (Theo) Carpenter of Vermontville and Mrs. Waneta Bell of Ionia; one brother, Ralph,
of Ovid; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pastor Richard A. Thomas of Charlotte Free Methodist church officiated at the
service with Mrs. Josephine Barna as organist.

Burial was in  Clear Lake cemetery.

Bearers were Craig Brainard, Leroy Bursley, David Bell and Dennis, Ronald and Jerry
Carpenter.
