Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Apr 1975

Louis Tefft, 66, of Hubbardston, died unexpectedly of a heart attack Sunday
morning at Carson City hospital.  Born in Keene township July 23, 1908, he was
the son of Mr. and Mrs. James P. Tefft.  He formerly owned and operated the
Tefft-Pellot Mill company of Hubbardston.  He was a veteran of World War II and
a former resident of Saranac.  His wife, Ruth, died December 31, 1972.

Surviving are a son, Alfred of Iron River and two grandchildren; five sisters,
Mrs. Anna Munger of Ionia, Mrs. Agnes VanHeulen of Grand Rapids, Dorothy Tefft
of Lansing, Mrs. Emma Rickert and Mrs. Helen Berndt of Saranac; three brothers,
Verl of Warren, Lee and Bert of Belding.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Roetman funeral home at
Saranac.  Interment will be at the Saranac cemetery.
