Belding - Sybil J. Telfor, 59, of Orleans, passed away Saturday morning, Feb. 9,
2002, at Sheridan Community Hospital.  She was born Dec. 16, 1942, in Jay, Fla.,
the daughter of Buster and Cecil Spicer Carroll.

Sybil was a graduate of Belding High School with the class of 1961.  She
attended Shiloh Community Church.  She worked at Sheridan Community Hospital in
the lab for 16 years, retiring in 1995.  She was married July 1, 1961, in
Belding, to Harold Telfor.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; their children, Dana and Lori Telfor of
Stanton, Valerie and Craig Harper of Springhope, N.C., Joe and Shelly Telfor of
Rockford; grandchildren, Emily, Hillary, Lauren and Jake Harper, Tyler and Tori
Telfor; her mother, Cecil Carroll of Ionia; her brothers, sisters and their
spouses, J.W. and Cathy Carroll of Charlotte, Wayne and Janice Carroll of
Sumner, Sue and Lee Wolf of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Sybil was preceded in death by
her father, Buster, in 1984.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home,
Belding, with Pastor Kendall Harger officiating.  Interment is in Orleans
Cemetery.  Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to American
Lung Association, American Diabetes Association or Shiloh Community Church.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Steury, the nurses and
all the staff of Sheridan Community Hospital for the wonderful care given to
Sybil and our family.  We truly appreciate all of you.
