The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, June 29, 1936

Lewis C. Temple, 60, who had been in failing health for two years, died at his 
home at Dildine Sunday, June 28.  He was the son of Daniel E. and Mary Temple, 
and was born in Easton township near Haynor January 30, 1876.

October 25, 1896 he was united in marriage to Maude Delano.  April 20, 1924 he 
became a member of the Church of Christ in Ionia.

Surviving are his widow, an adopted son, Orlan Eugene Temple, and two 
grandchildren, Harold and Harriett.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, afternoon, July 1, at 2 o’clock 
from the Stebbins funeral home.  Rev. Paul Stewart will officiate, and 
interment will be at the Easton cemetery.
