Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. July 12, 1961

Lewis C. Terry 87. Died On Wednesday
LeslieC. Terry, 87, retired barber, passed away early Wednesday morning at Pennock 
hospital, where he was admitted on Sunday night.

Mr. Terry was employed as a barber by a Mr. Becker in 1904, and later purchased the
business and sold the business to Fred Smith in 1930 when he retired.

Mr. Terry was a Spanish American War veteran and was a member of the Spanish War 
organization at Ionia.

His only survivor is his wife Carrie, whom he married in Milwaukee, April 16, 1903.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with
burial in Lakeside cemetery,  Rev. G. McCarty will officiate.
