  IONIA DAILY SENTINEL-STANDARD, MI, Friday, June 10, 1960, page 2:  "Deaths –
MRS. IDA R. TEW - LAKE ODESSA - Funeral service for Mrs. Ida R. Tew, 87, who
died at Clark Memorial Home in Grand Rapids early Thursday morning, will be held
at the Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa Saturday at 2 p.m.
   Mrs. Tew previously resided in Lake Odessa for many years while operating a
business there.  She was the widow of Edgar Tew who died in 1932.  Mrs. Tew had
continued to live in the village until seven and one-half years ago when she
went to Clark Memorial home.
   She was born in Grand Rapids, March 9, 1873, the daughter of Miles and Sophia
Brott (Bradt, per lib) Bennett.
   Surviving are one brother, Charles Bennett of rural Ionia, nieces and nephews.
   Interment will be at Lakeside cemetery."

   IONIA DAILY SENTINEL-STANDARD, MI, Monday, June 13, 1960, p 2:  "Deaths - MRS
IDA R TEW - Funeral service was held at the Pickens funeral chapel Saturday at 2
p.m. for Mrs Ida R. Tew, 87, a former resident of Lake Odessa who died June 9 at
Clark Memorial home in Grand Rapids.
   Rev. A. J. Pitman officiated and interment was at Lakeside cemetery.
   Bearers were George, Miles, Hobart and Harold Bennett."
