Michael Lee Thacker, Jr., 32, of Greenville died Saturday evening Nov. 8, 2008 
at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids.

Michael was born July 7, 1976 in Belding the son of Michael and Vickie France 
Thacker Sr. He was a member of BPI and of the Greenville Church of the 
Nazarene. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar and playing video games. He will 
be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Michael was married on Aug. 2, 1987 in Belding to Sherry Bunce and she survives 
along with their children, Domenick Thacker and Dustin Richmond of Greenville 
and Nicholas Koppenol of Belding; his brothers, Chris Thacker and David 
Thacker, both of Greenville, and Jerry Peterson of Phoenix, Ariz.; his parents 
and his grandmother, Ruth Thacker of Greenville.

He was preceded by his son, Michael Lee Thacker III and his grandparents, 
Jackie and Ila France and James Thacker Sr. Funeral services for Michael will 
be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor 
Tim DeShaw of the Greenville Church of the Nazarene officiating. Visitation 
will be Tuesday evening 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions 
may be given to a fund being established for his wife and children. Condolences
