Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, page 3, 1 Feb 1949

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Boynton funeral home for
John Thalison, Cyrus street, who died early Friday morning at the Ionia County
Memorial hospital only a short time after his admittance.

The Rev. Harold Tjepkoma, pastor of the Free Methodist church, officiated. 
Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery.  His bearers were Lee Roberts, Edgar Foote,
Alfred Herbert, Henry Ogden, Parley McKinley and Albert Peacock.
