Dorothy Jean Theisen, age 90, of Saranac, passed away April 8, 2014, in Lowell, 
Mich.  She was born March 31, 1924, the daughter of William and Mabel Dawson.  
Dorothy married Charles Theisen Sept. 7, 1940, who preceded her in death on 
Jan. 20, 1985.  She served during World War II in the Women's Army Corp. 

Dorothy is survived by her children, Darlene Harwood of Saranac, Peggy Shade of 
Fenwick, Sonja (Clifford) Grieves of Zeeland, Cindy (Gary) Jensen of Lakeview, 
Kevin (Melinda) Theisen of Saranac, Erika (Earl) Conley of Portland; thirty 
seven grand children; forty nine great grand children and many great, great 
grandchildren.   She is preceded in death by her son, Charles; daughters; 
Sally, Vicki and Denise. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12 at Lake Funeral 
Home in Saranac.  Visitation will be Friday, April 11 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 
p.m. at the funeral home.  Donations may be made in Dorothy's name to Spectrum 
Hospice.
