Ionia Sentinel Standard, 25 Oct 1982

Lloyd Thelen, 35, of 111 State Street, Pewamo, died unexpectedly Saturday.  He 
was born March 30, 1947, in Clinton County, the son of Clement and Mary Ann 
Miller Thelen.

Surviving are his parents; a grandmother, Margaret Thelen of Fowler; four 
brothers, Vernon of Grand Ledge, Michael of Dimondale, and Bruce and Lewis of 
Pewamo; three sisters, Karen Ferris of Lansing, June Thelen of Westphalia, and 
Ann Gross of Portland; and 20 nieces and nephews.

Rosary services will be Monday at 8 p.m. at St. Mary’s Chapel, Westphalia.  
Funeral mass will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Pewamo; the 
Rev. Isidro Gargantiel officiating.  Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 
Pewamo.  Arrangements are by Neller Funeral Home, Portland.
