The Ionia Shopper’s Guide, Saturday, April 30, 1988


Charles R. Thelen, 10, of Portland died April 30, 1988.  Surviving are parents 
James and Germaine Smith Thelen; five brothers, Michael, Thomas, Daniel, Peter 
and Anthony; one sister, Mary, all at home; his grandparents Gregory and 
Florence Thelen of Portland and Mary Smith of Fowler.  Funeral services will be 
held May 4 with burial in Portland Cemetery.  Arrangements by Neller Funeral 
Home.
