Sentinel-Standard - Monday, May 7, 1973

Mrs. Veronica Thelen, 83, of East Main, Westphalia, died Sunday at Ionia Manor.

She was born in Clinton county January 15, 1890, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Richard Goerge. Her husband, Mathias, died in 1967.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bernita Harr of Westphalia; 11 grandchildren and 
22 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Burman and Mrs. Bertha 
Rademacher of Lansing and Sister Erminelda of Kalamazoo.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 am at St. Mary's church in Westphalia 
with interment at the church cemetery.

Rosary will be recited Monday at 3 and 8 pm at St. Mary's church chapel in 
Westphalia. Rosary service by Christian Mother's will be Tuesday at 3 pm at St. 
Mary's church in Westphalia. Funeral mass will be at 8 pm Tuesday at St. Mary's 
church.

Arrangements are by Neller funeral home in Portland.

Bearers are Richard, Leroy and Robert Harr, John Schafer, Larry Schaefer and 
Ronald Simon.
