Adam first and foremost was a devoted father, son, brother and friend. to all. Born on August 6, 1989, and raised in Lake Odessa community, he was a 2008 graduate of Lakewood High School. He had recently retuned to Lake Odessa after a temporary departure to reestablish himself and create a stable home environment for his three children. He could e described as having a charming personality and a hard worker being employed by Franklin Metals of Lake Odessa. He was talented self-taught musician with the ability to conjure a song from any string instrument at a moment's notice.He enjoyed yard work and growing sunflowers and dahlias specifically. He had a larger-than-life smile and a sense of humor to match. He valued kindness towards others and physical activity. He was a founding member of TrainWreck Fight Alliance serving as a role model for younger member competitors. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gay Thelen and his grandmother, Joy Blakely both of Lake Odessa. He is survived by his children, Bradley 10 years, Gracelyn and Lennon 7 years; sister, Katie (Jason) Shong of Lake Odessa and brother, Ted (Ashley) Blakely of Clarksville. Several nieces and nephews Gavan, Gabriella and Elizabeth being a few that were very close to their Uncle Adam. Honorary Pallbearers are Matthew Risk, Branden Fisk, Bryan Tryon, Dominic Miller and Austen Darling. A memorial celebration of Adam's Life will take place on August 24, 2024 at 1 p.m., and arrangements will be provided by Lehman Funeral Home in Portland,MI. Following the service will be a luncheon held at the Grand Ricer Conservation Club in Portland. Those wishing to make contributions may do so on Adam's GoFundMe page.
