Todd R. Thelen, 16, of 115 Elm St., Westphalia, died Saturday in a Lansing
hospital after a short illness.  He was born Feb. 12, 1966, the son of Gregor
and Maybelle Feldpausch Thelen and was a junior at Pewamo-Westphalia High
School.  He was also a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and had
participated in Pewamo-Westphalia Community Theatre.

Surviving are his parents; six sisters, Ann Dilley of Portland, Carey Thelen of
Lansing, Mrs. Wanda Fedewa of Fowler, Darlene Thelen of St. Johns, and Brenda
and Bethany Thelen, at home; a grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Thelen of Fowler, a
niece and a nephew.

Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Church.  Funeral mass will
also be at St. Mary’s Church at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. James Schmitt
officiating.  Honorary pallbearers will be David and Patrick Platte, Brian and
Mark Smith, Rick and David Thelen, Phillip Hanses, Tim Fedewa, Jeff Cassel,
Bernie Lehman.  Active pallbearers will be Thomas Thelen, Robert Schaar Jr.,
Thomas Trierweiler, Peter Schafer, Timothy Stump, and Glen Witgen.  Burial will
be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Arrangements have been made by Neller Funeral Home,
Portland.
