Tadum Marie Thole – February 9, 1980 – December 6, 2009.

The family celebrated Tadum’s life at the Lakewood United Methodist Church on 
Friday, Dec. 11, 2009.

Tadum is loved by her mother, Darlene Kauffman; sister and brother, Lydia and 
Zachery Kauffman; father, Jim and Darla Thole; brothers, Jake and Lane Thole; 
grandparents, Roger and Betty Kauffman, and Dean and Jean Hyde, best friends, 
Shannon Hughes and Shelle Kauffman; aunts and uncles, Diane (Kauffman) Boyer, 
Dennis and Karen Kauffman, David and Melanie Kauffman, Deb Kauffman, Joe and 
Ellie Thole, John Thole, Roselyn Mcallister, Mary Ann Bazany, Bill and Arlene 
Thole, Bret and Sue Meyer, Mike and Dawn Thole; and numerous cousins and 
friends. 

There are hardly words to describe Tadum. Here are a few from the people she 
touched: Center of life wherever she went, amazing friend, her beautiful smile 
and loud peals of laughter will stay with us forever, precious gentle spirit, 
real, faith of a child, accepting, a smile that brought many tear-stained faces 
to light, genuine, connected to kids, searching eyes for the people she loved, 
special laugh, sick sense of humor, taught us how to laugh, born an angel and 
will eternally remain an angel, inspiring, she laughed when we cried.

We are all gifts from God, but we must realize that we have to give our loved 
ones back to God as gifts, and that’s the hardest part. God ushered Tadum into 
heaven reuniting her with her uncle Daniel Kauffman, and grandparents, Francis 
and Margaret Thole.

Arrangements were made by the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.
