Richard Hull, Ionia county coroner, said death was due to a heart attack. Thomas was born in Loganville, Ga., January 28, 1922, and is a veteran of World War II. He was married in Georgia April 17, 1959 to the former Marilyn McCue Butler of Lyons and lived there nine years. June 15 of this year, they came to Lyons and purchased the home of the late Mrs. Lottie Bogert on Atwater street. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; two stepchildren, Kathleen and James, and a son, Michial, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Ida Lacy of Austell, Ga.; two brothers, Clarence Thomas of Loganville, Ga., and James A. Thomas of Westwego, La.; and a sister, Mrs. Eliza Dailey of Austell, Ga. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home of Muir.
