The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Wednesday, December 14, 1910

Mrs. Tom Thomas, an old resident of Easton, died Monday night.  Mrs. Thomas 
has been in poor health for several years but has been confined in the bed 
less than a week.  A sudden shock was responsible for her death.

Mrs. Thomas was 71 years of age and has resided on the Easton farm, six miles 
west of the city, for forty-five years.

Two children survive, George, of Belding, and Frank of Easton,.  There are 
also two grandchildren, children of a daughter, Mrs. E. D. Dow, who died 3 
years ago.  Their home is at Belding.  Mrs. Thomas was one of the oldest and 
best known residents of Easton, and she will be greatly missed.  Funeral 
Thursday at one o’clock, Standard time, at house.
