Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Oct. 14, 1969

SARANAC- Mrs. Sarah V. Thomas, 47, of Saranac and formerly of Kissimmee, Fla., 
died Monday morning at Belding Community hospital.

She was born September 10, 1922 in Bonifay, Fla., and has been a resident of 
Saranac since 1967. She was employed at a Saranac Restaurant.

Besides her husband, Richard, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Frances Cantello of 
San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Zella Shy of Oxford, Fla.; 
four brothers, Jona, Barman, Clinton and William Shy all of Oxford, Fla.; two 
sisters, Mrs. Mildred Davis of Georgia, and Mrs. Flora Perry of Florida.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home in 
Saranac. Rev. James Frank will officiate.

Further funeral services will be conducted at Page-Theus funeral home at 
Leesburg, Fla., Saturday. Interment will be at Oxford Memorial cemetery.
