Richard Thomas, age 73, of Crystal, formerly of Ionia and Palo, passed away 
Monday, August 29, 2005 in Crystal.

He was born January 8, 1932 in Ionia the son of Michael and Opal Thomas. He 
married Maria Alexandro Dec. 22, 1960.  She preceded him in death on April 19, 
2005.  Richard was a member of the Ionia Moose Lodge.  He loved and played old 
country music at the Commission on Aging in towns like Crystal, Greenville, St. 
Johns, etc.

Surviving are his children Christina and Don Miller of Sheridan, Michele 
Winslow and fianc/ Frank Frazier of Crystal, Richard and Nikki Thomas of Carson 
City; sister Peggy Dominee of Lakeview, 13 grandchildren and three great-
grandsons.  He was also preceded in death by great-granddaughter Melissa.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Rev. 
Kenneth Martin officiating.  The family will receive friends and relatives 6 
p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Anyone wishing may make memorial 
contributions to family wishes.
