Arthur Thomas Died January 22nd
Arthur (Dee) Thomas, 60, of Battle Creek passed away Friday night at a hospital
there and he had undergone recent surgery.

An employee of the Consumer Power Co. for many years, he was employed in Ionia
before his marriage to Retta Hummel local girl. They later moved to Jackson and then
transferred to Battle Creek.

Survivors include his wife and a foster daughter Marcelene. He was an Uncle of Mrs.
Wayne (Barbara) Knop.

Funeral services were held at Battle Creek Tuesday forenoon with burial at Tawas
City, his native home town, Wednesday.
