RETIRED FARMER DIED WEDNESDAY
Sidney A. Thomas, 87, retired farmer died Wednesday morning at the Cook Rest home in

Ionia where he had spent the last 20 months.

He had lived on a farm southwest of town many years before moving here seven years
ago.

Surviving are two son's Bernard of lake Odessa, and Archie of Paw Paw; one daughter,
Mrs. Edna Lydy of Woodland, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. His wife died
three years ago.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 at the Pickens chapel with burial in
Lakeside cemetery. Rev. M. H. Dawson will officiate.
