JOHN THOMAS DIED THURSDAY

John Thomas 64, formerly of Clarksville and Lansing, died at Crescent city, 
Florida, last Thursday after a short illness. He was employed by the Oldsmobile 
Corporation for 20 years and for about five years before retirement had operated 
a service station in Lansing with a son. He had resided in clarksville since his 
marriage to Mrs.carrie Swiger in February 1954 and was spending the winter in 
Florida.

Besides his wife Carrie he is survived by two sons and a daughter in Lansing; 
two brothers, Watt of Alto and William of Niles and grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 at the Estes-Leadley Funeral Home, 
Lansing and at 1 p.m. at the Clarksville Bible Church. Burial in Bowne Township 
cemetery.
