Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 29 Nov 1948

Abram Thomas, 89, Campbell township farmer for many years, died Friday night at 
the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ruby Xingman, of Battle Creek

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Pickins funeral home at 
Lake Odessa with burial at Lakeside cemetery at Lake Odessa.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Martha Kussmaul of Woodbury, Mrs. Pearl 
Swiger of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Klingman; two sons, Claude of Kalamazoo and Roy 
of Hastings; a sister, Mrs. Susie Baker, of Lowell and a brother, Dan, of 
Johnstown, Pa.
