The Ionia Daily Standard, Saturday, September 14, 1901
The funeral services of the late Henry Thomas were held at the home of his 
sister, Mrs. W. J. Callow, this afternoon at two o’clock, the Rev. W. H. 
Thomas, D.D., officiating.  There was a considerable number of friends in 
attendance, of whom he numbered many in the city.  He was kind of heart, and 
usually when he made a friend he held him as such.  Interment was in Oak Hill.
