B. Thomas, on Wednesday, 10 inst., was largely attended from the family residence, 241 E. Main St. The services were conducted by Rev. J. T. Oxtoby, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian church, of which deceased was for thirty-five years an active member. The music was by Mrs. Brock and Miss Laura Tompkins, of the Presbyterian church choir. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. P. T. Bates, Oscar Webber, E. T. Montgomery and W. O. Webster were the bearers. The interment was in the family lot in Highland Park Cemetery. The following relatives and friends from out of the city attended: Mrs. Mary J. Norton, the aged mother of the deceased, Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Hall, of Grand Ledge, Mrs. Hall being a sister; Frank H. Norton, of Williamson, a brother; Mr. and Mrs. B. M.
