Jennie Ann Thomas, age 93, of Ionia, formerly of Saranac, passed away February 
10, 2006 in Ionia Twp. She was born May 20, 1912 in Ionia, the daughter of 
Howard and Jessie (White) Eddy. She married Matthew Perry Thomas October 21, 
1931 who preceded her in death December 26, 1969.

Jennie is survived by her loving children; Dorothy Thomas of Ionia, Richard 
Thomas of Ionia; daughter in law Frances Thomas of Lowell, Kathleen Thomas of 
Lowell , Jackie Jensen of Saranac; son in law Dan Wacha of Lyons; 16 
grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.  She 
was preceded in death by three sons; Levi Thomas in 1993, Bob Thomas in 1994, 
Wayne Thomas in 2003; one daughter, Martha Wacha in 1980; one sister Esther 
and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday at Lincoln Ave. Baptist Church 
with Rev. Darren Tharp officiating. Internment Balcom Cemetery. The family 
will receive friends and relatives Monday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at 
Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
