THOMASSON
Rev. Jack Thomasson passed away January 5, 2017. He was 72 years old and 
survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Sharon, three children, Raymond 
(Susan) Thomasson, Minette (Peter) Shinozaki, John Thomasson and three 
grandchildren, Zane Thomasson, Patrick Thomasson, and Jasmine Shinozaki. He 
is also survived by his brothers, Richard (Joan) Thomasson and Michael 
(Barbara) Thomasson. He is preceded in death by his brother, George, and his 
parents, Loris and Elsie Mae.

He served the Lord for 35 years with Youth for Christ. He loved to paint and 
take pictures.He won an award at the Ionia Free Fair for his picture of 
downtown Ionia. He was a member of Day Bible Chapel. Funeral arrangements are 
pending.
