The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, September 20, 1934

Frank Thompson, 88, former resident of Easton township and for several years a 
resident of Lansing, passed away at the home of his son, H. T. Thompson, 110 
East Washington street, early Thursday morning.  He had been living with his 
son for the past four years.

Surviving is one son, at whose home he died; a daughter, Mrs. M. E. Lott, of 
Lansing, and one granddaughter, Esther R. Thompson, of Ionia.

Funeral services will be held from the Wood & Beck funeral home of Lansing, 
Saturday, at 1 o’clock.  Interment will be in Mt. Hope cemetery, Lansing 
beside his wife, Hester A. Thompson.
