Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. June 7, 1977

LAKE ODESSA- Donald C. Thompson, 42, of route 2, Tupper Lake road, died Sunday 
morning at Ionia county Memorial hospital.

He was born in Lansing, October 28, 1934, the son of James and Neva Bell 
Thompson.

He attended Lansing Everett high school and married the former Marcia Ingraham 
October 26, 1974 in Hastings. 

He operated a sports shop and restaurant in Woodbury until 1974 and was later 
employed by Kay Fresh Foods in Ionia.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Daniel at home; one daughter, Fawn at 
home; three step-children, Richard, Brenda and Stephanie Roberts, at home; one 
sister Mrs. Bryan (Rose) Allen of Lansing; one nephew, two nieces and several 
cousins.

Services are Wednesday at 3 pm from the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel with 
Father Charles Dautremont officiating.

Burial is in Lakeside cemetery.
