Belding Home News, 17 Jul 1879

Thompson – At the residence of Reuben Brown in the township of Eureka on
Tuesday, July 15, 1879, of general paralysis, Mrs. Cynthia Thompson, aged 62
years.  Funeral services yesterday in the church at Cook’s Corners.  Sermon by
Rev. E. Mudge.  Mrs. Thompson is familiarly known to a large portion of the
people of Otisco.  Her residence was in the north-west part of the township, but
was with her sister, Mrs. Brown, at the time of her demise.  She was a devoted
christian, and respected and loved by all those who knew her.
