Thompson, 63, of 338 North Jefferson street, were held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the First Presbyterian church. Rev. A. J. Westmaas officiated and burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery, Lansing. The body reposed at the church from 12:00 o’clock until 2:00 o’clock and the guard of honor furnished by the Knight Templars was Harris Jackson, Fred Barnes, Blaine Laden and Roy Weber. Pallbearers were Maynard Gould, F. E. Olmsted, Paul Leslie, Dr. H. L. Imus, John Toutenhoofd and Chas. Brown. Floral arrangements were in charge of the floral degree team of Queen Esther chapter No. 35, OES, Mrs. Marvin Nelson, Mrs. John Toutenhoofd, Mrs. Clarence Johnson, Mrs. George Vance, Mrs. John Rademacher, Mrs. F. E. Olmsted, and Miss Fannie Vance. Organ selections we relayed by Miss Norma Hoyt. Full Masonic burial services were conducted by Past Master Bert Fox. Attending services from away were Austin Thompson, Mrs. Matilda Lott, Mrs. Etta Buhler, Carl Hedlund, Mrs. Gerald Kidder, R. N. Langois, Clarence Rosa and Joseph Overloop of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Claude R. Hastings, Mrs. William Nauman and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dodge of Jackson; Mrs. Marion Horn of Battle Creek; Mrs. Alice Heald of Greenville, Maynard Gould of South Haven and Francis Gould, seaman second class, U.S. naval reserve, Camp Farragut, Idaho.
