TERESA ANN THOMPSON 1949-2016
Teresa Ann Thompson, aged 67 of Portland passed away unexpectedly Nov. 2, 2016 
at her home. She was born July 25, 1949 in Lansing the daughter of William and 
Margaret (Colerick) Moriarty. Terrie graduated from Portland High school class 
of 1967.

Terrie loved to crochet, blessing others with her beautiful handmade items. Her 
other passion was working on genealogy with her mother, unearthing history and 
secrets of the Colerick, Helfrich and Moriarty families, going back centuries.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Brie Thompson of Portland; 
grandchildren, Zacory Steven Thompson, Kristian Mikeal Keeler and Dacotah James 
Keeler; brother Pat (Sallie) Moriarty; and several nieces and nephews also 
survive. Terrie was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Michael 
J. and William D. "Rock". Her greatest love was her family.

There will be a Memorial Visitation at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia Nov. 10, 
2016 from 2-5 PM. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Grace Hospice 
or The Ionia County Animal Shelter. Online condolences may be made to
